ADULT EVENTS:

• *Adult Yoga – Wednesdays 10:15 AM: Bring a mat and get ready to breathe. One hour of Hatha Yoga. Open to all levels.
  ***Last class June 5, 2013. Yoga will return July 24. ***Check schedule at the Library.
• Monday June 17, 2013 at 4:00 PM: COMPUTER CLASS: Don’t have an email account yet? Learn how to create and use your own email account.
  
  
• Wednesday, June 19, 2013 at 10:30 AM: COMPUTER CLASS: Learn how to download digital books including audio to your device.
• Thursday, June 20, 2013 at 12 noon – 6:00 PM : Community Blood Drive: to make a life-saving appointment, please visit www.redcrossblood.org or contact the branch directly.  Identification is required to donate.
• Wednesday, June 26, 2013: COMPUTER CLASS: Basic introduction to computers and search engines.
• Thursday, June 27, 2013 Adult Book Club: Join us as we discuss Ghost Map: The Story of London’s Most Terrifying Epidemic by Steven Johnson this month. Copies held at the circulation desk for check out.

TEEN EVENTS:

• Chess Club:  Thursdays at 4:15pm-5:15 PM. All levels. Parents welcome too!
• Student zone Monday-Thursday 2:30pm to 5:30pm on-going in 2013. The Venice Branch Library offers a dedicated space, essential supplies, equipment, resources, and trained Computer Aide to assist students grades 4-12. Free printing.
• June 12, 2013 4:00PM
  Basic Cartooning Class
  Join David Boatman for some hands-on fun as he demonstrates basic cartooning concepts. Kids and teens welcome.
• Wednesday, June 19, 2013 at 4:00 PM : Bubble Mania returns with an interactive program on the science of bubbles. Fun for all members of the family.

CHILDREN’S EVENTS:

•  STARS
  Storytelling And Reading (Mondays, Tuesdays & Thursdays): Trained volunteers read to children of all ages in the Children’s Area. Call or visit the branch for specific times.

• Summer Reading Club Events every Thurs. during the Summer at 4:00 PM. Check at the Library for most updated schedules.

• June 5, 2013 at 4;00 PM: Summer Reading Club: Ice Cream Social and Sign Up. Kick off the summer with a treat and sign up for our Summer Reading Club. Reading is Delicious! Infants, children and teens welcome.
• June 12, 2013 4:00PM
